How long does the training take?
Our compact gyrocopter pilot training takes about two weeks full-time on site. Theory lessons take place in Kosovo, practical flight training at Stenkovec Airfield near Skopje. If you prefer to train alongside work or family, we also offer flexible schedules. The exact duration depends on weather conditions and your individual progress.
What is included?
Theory lessons in Kosovo, practical flight training on a modern gyrocopter with an experienced instructor, and full preparation for the official theory and practical examinations. We also support you with the paperwork for your licence application, so you can fully focus on flying.
What documents do I need?
A valid aviation medical certificate and a valid ID or passport. Depending on your country, additional documents may be required for the licence application. Before your training starts, we send you a clear checklist so you arrive fully prepared.

Can I visit first and see the gyrocopter?
Yes. You are welcome to come and look at the aircraft, meet the instructors and see both locations before you book anything.
Is a gyrocopter shaky or difficult in wind?
No. The gyrocopter is very wind stable, which is one of its biggest strengths. That is also why we can train all year round instead of only during the summer months.
When can I fly? Are there fixed course dates?
We fly every day, all year round. The times are planned individually with you, so your lessons fit your schedule rather than a fixed group timetable.
Can I count my flight hours towards other licences later?
Hours flown during your training can be relevant if you continue towards other ratings later, for example in the helicopter field. What is credited depends on the authority and the licence you are aiming for, so tell us your plans and we will explain what applies in your case.
Do I need my own gyrocopter for the training?
No. You train on our modern gyrocopter. If you decide to buy your own later, we can advise you on the right model and configuration.On our website Magni Gyro Balkan you can explore the models and configure your own.
Do you help with accommodation if I come from abroad?
Yes. For students travelling from abroad we arrange accommodation, and if you bring your family we are happy to suggest trips and things to do in the region.
How do I get here from the airport?
If you travel from abroad, we can collect you from the airport when you first arrive. Let us know your flight details and we will organise it for you.
Can you help with financing?
We do not provide financing ourselves, but we can put you in touch with partners who do, both for your training and for the purchase of your own aircraft. Just ask and we will point you in the right direction.
